Cancelling an order (prior to delivery)

An order that was placed on the webshop of fjordsen.com can be cancelled free of charge and without reason.

Undoing the purchase (after delivery)

You have the right to withdraw the order within 14 days from the day after receipt without reason. The actual delivery date counts as the delivery date, even if the product is only installed on a later date. After withdrawal, you have 14 days to return the products to Fjordsen.

The costs for returning the product in question is at your own expense. The costs can vary and depend on the transport company.

Depending on the condition in which the product is received by Fjordsen, you will receive the full purchase amount, including shipping costs, or a percentage thereof. If you want to return a product, you can contact Fjordsen via sales@fjordsen.com. If you return a product without informing us in advance, we kindly ask that you to include the cancellation form!

Conditions for receiving a full refund

• The product must be fully complete and in the original state;
• The product must be clean, just as you received it;
• The product must not be damaged;
• Included assembly material should be reasonably packed in its original packaging if possible;
• The product must have the original manuals and the included accessories;
• The product must have suitable packaging, preferably the original packaging, which may have been opened;
• As a customer you are only liable for the depreciation of the goods resulting from the use of the goods, which goes beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
• Fjordsen will pay the purchase price including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from the choice of a different delivery method than the cheapest, standard delivery offered by Fjordsen) as soon as possible, but no later than 14 days after withdrawal.
• Fjordsen does not refund until the goods have been returned in their entirety or if you have shown that the goods have been returned, whichever comes first.
• Fjordsen will refund you using the same payment method with which you made the original transaction, unless you have explicitly agreed otherwise; in any case, no costs will be charged.

Withdrawal

We recommend that you send an e-mail to sales@fjordsen.com or call us via 026 – 206 2 114 to report a return. That way Fjordsen can process the return shipment faster and easier.

Validity

The return and refund policy of Fjordsen does not apply in the following cases:

• If you are not a consumer but a legal entity or government
• Export outside the EU

Payment in arrears with Klarna

Fjordsen also offers payment in arrears through Klarna. Once your order has been shipped, you have 30 days to make your payment, allowing you to check out the product before you pay. For questions about your payment via Klarna, please contact Klarna's customer service.

With Fjordsen, you are always guaranteed the highest quality. We stand by the quality of our products and are committed to providing exceptional rooftop tents and accessories that have undergone rigorous quality testing. Our products are guaranteed against defects in materials and quality.

All Fjordsen rooftop tents come with a two-year warranty to give you peace of mind. Fjordsen covers any defects or damages to your Fjordsen rooftop tent, including damage caused by normal wear and tear of materials for two years after the purchase date. The Fjordsen warranty gives you specific statutory rights but does not affect your statutory rights in the event of a defective product.

Fjordsen reserves the right to:

• repair the rooftop tent under our warranty conditions;
• replace the rooftop tent if the defect or damage cannot be repaired;
• offer a comparable product of similar value or refund the purchase price if the rooftop tent cannot be replaced with the same model.

The Fjordsen warranty does not cover:

• defects arising from conditions out of Fjordsen's control, including, but not limited to, misuse or failure to assemble, install or use the product in accordance with Fjordsen's written instructions, frequently asked questions and safety guidelines;
• damage to the user's vehicle, electronic appliances or cargo; injury or damage to third parties and their property.

Warranty period

The Fjordsen warranty varies per product type and can be found in the overview below. Compensation for all products depends on the remaining warranty period.

Making a warranty claim

If you believe your problem is covered under Fjordsen's warranty, please fill in this form as completely as possible. We will assess your claim based on the information provided and contact you within ten working days to discuss the situation and potential solution.

Neither Fjordsen nor any affiliated person or company is liable for any damages resulting from your use of or inability to use this website or any of the information, contents, services or material it provides. Fjordsen reserves the right to change, add and exclude information on the website—including this disclaimer—at any time and without prior notice. Fjordsen is not obliged to update this website or any information it provides.

Rooftop tent delivery

We pay great care and attention to the safe delivery of your rooftop tent to your home. The tent and all components are packed carefully and securely for shipping. We select the best transport companies known for their punctuality and proper handling of our packages. We do everything in our power to ensure that your high-quality Fjordsen rooftop tent reaches you in pristine condition.

Your Fjordsen rooftop tent will be delivered in four (Light 140 and Air XL) or five (Light 220) boxes. The Fjordsen rooftop tent is quick and easy to assemble; you can find the assembly instructions here.

Delivery of Fjordsen products

Just like our rooftop tents, all Fjordsen accessories and Fjordsen Outdoors products are shipped carefully and securely. We use the best transport companies and pack your products well to ensure that they arrive at their destination in pristine condition.

Track your package

After you place your order, we will send you an order confirmation. When the carrier collects the package, we will send you an email with a tracking number to track your package.
