Fjordsen offers three rooftop tent models; the Light 140, the Light 220 and the Air XL. We have listed the differences and similarities below.
The Light 140 differs from the Light 220 in only two ways:
Both Light models are made of strong, lightweight and durable materials and are waterproof. The rooftop tents consist of individual parts that you assemble yourself before using the tent for the first time. Detailed and clear assembly instructions are available for each model. The benefit of this is that if one part breaks, it can be replaced without rendering the entire tent unusable. This ensures that you will be able to enjoy your Fjordsen rooftop tent for many years.
The Fjordsen AIR XL is a globally unique product. The Fjordsen AIR XL roof tent can also accommodate 3 to 4 people. The floor dimensions and ridge height are identical to the LIGHT 220. However, it weighs 74 kg and is the strongest rooftop tent in our range. The tent’s structure is based on a strong, inflated core. The tent is rock solid once the core has been fully inflated with the accompanying compact mobile compressor. The AIR XL tent can withstand enormous wind loads and pressure. The high-quality acrylic coating makes the fabric waterproof, weatherproof and highly durable, even in extreme weather conditions. This is the perfect tent for camping in more rugged areas, by the sea or in the mountains. With the Fjordsen AIR XL, you can brave any climate.

Due to the clever design, the sides of all three models project outwards, and the ridge has been kept as high as possible. This makes Fjordsen rooftop tents some of the most spacious roof tents available. The floor is made of synthetic foam panels on an aluminium frame. This combination is strong and provides optimal insulation against low temperatures. In combination with the height of your car roof, the four large windows in each wall provide a spectacular view.
